Half Term Boredom? We’re bringing all day fun!

Half term can be fun. No school, hanging out with your friends and chilling.

But it can also be a bit lame and boring, especially if the weather is bad and there’s nothing to do.

Don’t stress though as we’ve come up with the perfect cure for any boredom blues you might get with our Brent Cross Takeover event which we’re holding with our friends from YoYoFactory.

You’ve now only got a few more days to wait until it kicks off on Thursday 29 October smack bang in the middle of Brent Cross’ Centre Court.

YoYoFactory is flying over some international champions who will blow you away with their string skills. They’ll also be some of the best UK yoyo players taking part in the action.

Here’s your chance to learn from these yoyo experts who include American ace Ann Connolly and our Czech mate Tomas Bubak who is jetting in from Prague for the day.

Some wicked yoyos and accessories will be on sale and you’ll even get the chance to learn new tricks from Tomas, Ann and the UK crew.

If getting tricky ain’t your thing we’ve plenty more to do. Crackers Radio will be pumping out music all day, we’ll be in effect with our pop up bar and free giveaways, plus they’ll be a chance to meet the ShakeTastic team.

Unless you were in a time warp you’d have noticed Wednesday 21 October was Back to the Future day.

We’re massive movie fans so we just had to mark the day Marty and the Doc fast forwarded from 1988 to 21-10-15.

Our bars have been selling lots of the Back to the Future special shake we created. It’s a killer combination of a Wham bar, Skittles and popping candy.

We also held a competition to win one of our very limited edition Back to the Future t-shirts. We only made 10, they are individually numbered and are rarer than a time travelling Delorean sports car!!!

Remember the Brent Cross Takeover starts at 10am, so come down, have fun and enjoy the wicked mix of ShakeTastic and YoYoFactory.

Until next time, Peace.
